“KLANG - The Film” a documentary by Jacob Dammas now online

The film is available from 24th of October til 23rd of December 23, 2022.

In the autumn of 2020, documentary filmmaker Jacob Dammas followed the contemporary music festival KLANG which was held in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic where the conditions for artistic and cultural events were anything but optimal. The many limitations and restrictions made the tension almost unbearable, but it also contributed an extra sense of anxiety, relief and joywhen the performances were finally allowed to take place. Jacob captured the musicians' rehearsals, their behind-the-scenes interaction, the organizers at work, the dynamics during the concerts, the audience's reactions, and the festival atmosphere. At the same time, there was room for deeper reflection in the form of short, spontaneous interviews with some of the artists – both from Denmark and abroad – as well as with the festival organizers and the audience.
The film premiered in June during the KLANG-Festival 2022 .
