Blågårds Pl. 6A
Challenging, pungent, imaginative (and visual) music with a soundscape in great detail. Polish Marta Sniady makes her debut from The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, with a project consisting of four pieces, which she describes as follows: "... Thanks to the omnipresent Internet, it has become extremely easy to mantain contacts, build up communities and open up borders. On the other hand, we have never before been so solitary. In isolation we are living other people's lives through the screen, as if they were our own. Are we at all living? Do we choose for ourselves, or are we controlled by the media? Are we fulfilled in our need for intimacy, love and affection, or do we trick ourselves? Do we love, or do we advertise? Are we really present, or are we nothing but an archive of likes and clicks. The four pieces represent four goals to achieve happiness".
