Dirch Passers Allé 4
Sommervækster (Summer Growths)
In a universe of experimental voice use, a sea of cables, 7 microphones, an animated and co-acting stage design and choreographed live electronics, the story of Sofie and her grandmother is told on a small island in the middle of the Finnish archipelago. One is at the entrance of life, the other is on her way out. The mother is dead, the father is working. Between them is a hole that they are trying to fill with loving care, quarrels, explorations, secrets and long conversations about everything from God and hell to the ants in the grass. The summer is long, and nature is experienced with its many nuances in the same extension of the girl's own soul life for good and evil.
