James Black's POSY

The title of the work, or the title of the event, is POSY (a pageant). Bearing the title in mind, we can expect everything, and James Black's program note for the performance confirms this impression: "A nice ritual with song and dance and sound baths and keyboards and a march orchestra and the minutes from Ásahreppur's local council meeting, which was held on January 13th 2015".

In 2019 KLANG Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary. From the beginning of 2009 until the closing of this festival at June 10th 2019, an enormous amount of new, newer and modern classical music has been performed and premiered. The day of the anniversary is on June 4th, and the day will be full of concerts in and around Den Sorte Diamant, with participating artists from many parts of the Danish musical scene. All of them a part of the celebration of KLANG, the music, the composers and the ten years passed since the first festival. And, of course, there will be a toast for the coming ten years of KLANG.

Skibladner and Art installation at sea can be visited from 2 pm to 6.30 pm.
