Here is a unique opportunity to experience Korean Pansori in Denmark. Pansori is the name of the traditional Korean storytelling for singing and percussion. There are only a few singers in the world who can sing this very demanding style. Pansori as an art form extends for hundreds of years and is part of UNESCO's cultural heritage.

As a modern opposition, Xenakis interpreted from the late 1980s the ancient story of Kassandra, warning of the accidents that will surpass Agamemnon, but whose predictions fall to the deaf ears. Xenakis lets a singer be both Kassandra and Chorus, who comment, in this completely musical narrative, where both the singer and the slave player are driven to the utmost. Kassandra has never been performed in Denmark before.
