KLANG i KUBE
Sunday, June 3rd, contains two festivals in the festival. One is for those adults who need to open inquisitive ears - and eyes - with border crossing, exotic, noisy and thoughtful music and installation art; It takes place in the Concert Church. The second mini-festival is not so mini yet. It is KLANG in KUBE, which takes place in Frederiksberg. Here the music is written by, being played by and listened to by a much younger segment of the population. KLANG in KUBE is KLANG's festival for children and new music, where all day children will be offered from the very small to the almost adults. There are concerts with young musicians from Frederiksberg Music School, The Danish Suzuki Institute and Hvidovre Music School. There are opera for the very small ones; It is the Norwegian Dieserud / Lindgren Dragon Zoo. And then there are workshops and mini-concerts in a collaboration between KLANG and the music publisher Edition S.
The festival in the festival - KLANG in KUBE - is another year of KLANG's many years of work to convey contemporary music to young performers and the young audience
